Kandelstik is designed to work entirely offline. The app does not require or use internet connectivity for any of its core features:

- Building visual trade maps on the canvas

- Generating reports and heatmaps
This offline-first design ensures maximum privacy and security for your trading data.
5. Data Security
Since all data remains on your local device, its security depends on your Mac's security measures:

Kandelstik integrates with TradingView for chart screenshot uploads, but this integration is entirely local:
- Chart screenshots are processed locally on your device
- No data is sent to TradingView or any external service
- Level extraction and analysis happens offline
- Your TradingView account data remains private
8. Waitlist and Communications
If you join our waitlist for early access:
- We collect only your email address for waitlist purposes
- Your email is stored securely and used only for app updates and launch notifications
- You can unsubscribe at any time
- We do not share your email with third parties
- Once you purchase the app, waitlist data is deleted
9. Payment Processing and Licensing
For app purchases, we use secure third-party payment processors:
- Payment information is processed securely by our payment partners
- We do not store credit card information
